Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion…reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle.
A nation is comprised of its legal jurisdiction, its people and its government. Loose any part of that and it is no longer a nation. America no longer has control of its borders, and that is because the government prefers to not have control. Because of this, we are no longer a viable culture, but a convoluted mass that is not headed in the same direction.
Looks as if all three elements of a viable nation have been damaged or destroyed to the point where a foreign government is aiding invaders, and our government does nothing to curb it. Matter of fact, it probably condones it.
Those who are doing their dead level best to destroy this nation are blatant, today. They see no need in hiding their true colors and are pushing their agenda as hard as they can.
Who, over the age of forty, ever thought they would see the day when a school would not only tolerate boys going into the girls bathrooms, but would demand it be allowed. When confronted by angry parents, the school not only asserted that the girls have no expectation of privacy, but threatened to remove the girls from school sports.
Shame on the school administration, shame on the numerous news channels for not making an issue of this, and shame on the parents of the boys demanding to be allowed into the girl’s bathrooms.
Maybe most of all, shame on America for buying into the Satanic lie that our traditional ethics, morals and values have no place in deciding what is right and what is wrong. Because we didn’t stand for our beliefs when we should have, the Godless now call the shots.
How hollow the words, “Good bless America,” when we no longer deserve the blessings given to a nation who reveres and honors that God.
Children are little sponges, and the television is today’s mental watering can.
The foundation of national morality must be laid in the private families. In vain are schools, academies, and universities instituted, if loose principles and licentious habits are impressed upon children in their earliest years.
Proverbs 22:6 is the backing for his thoughts:
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he shall not depart from it.
Suppose a nation in some distant region should take the Bible for their only law book, and every member should regulate his conduct by the precepts there exhibited! Every member would be obliged in conscience, to temperance, frugality, and industry; to justice, kindness and charity towards his fellow men; and to piety, love and reverence towards Almighty God…What a Eutopia, what a Paradise this region would be.
